Directly competing with Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab is the only other tablet in the market, which is successful so far. 1st edition of the Galaxy Tab has a 7’’ display. Then 10.1’’ and 8.9’’ tablet are released in 2011 with powerful hardware inside. 1st Galaxy Tab 7 runs only 2.2 Froyo and 2.3 Gingerbread versions of Android OS. But the new 2 tablets are compatible with latest Android 3.2 OS. And at IFA 2011 Samsung showed us another new Android running tablet, Galaxy Tab 7.7.
