Verizon drops Galaxy Nexus price to just $99.99

While Samsung Galaxy S III is on the buying list there’s no reason to ask more than $100 for other 6/7 months old Android devices. That’s what Verizon is doing with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus right now. The phone that once retailed for $299 on a two-year contract can now be had for an easy $99 only. To many people this is still the best phone available because it is fully stock, a “developer” device, and will likely always have the newest version of Android before the rest of the players. Because after all the drama it’s the Google phone of 2011.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon Wireless has a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED multi-touch screen, 32GB internal memory, 1GB RAM and 5MP snapper at the back to shoot video at fullHD resolution. Galaxy Nexus can handle Ultra-fast 4G LTE connectivity via the Verizon Wireless 4G Mobile Broadband network, with expected download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps.
