Last month, the Lenovo S60 was quietly launched in Russia for $290. The S60 sports a 5” 720p IPS display offering great viewing angles and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 mobile chipset, 2GB of RAM, 8GB on-board storage, and memory slot to add up to 32GB microSD card. At the back, it has a 13MP camera with autofocus and LED flash while 5MP front camera is decent enough to take selfies. By default, the S60 runs the Android 4.4 Kitkat based Lenovo Vibe 2.0 UI and is expected to be upgraded to Vibe 3.0 UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

Much like other Lenovo handsets, the Lenovo S60 also comes pre-installed with some proprietary DOit apps, such as SECUREit which will help users track, analyse and optimise their data usage; the SHAREit app for fast phone-to-phone data transfer capability without the need for Wi-Fi or mobile network; and SYNCit to that will give users a permanent backup of all their data and whilst making it accessible on any device.
