T-Mobile US may start offering LG G4 from June 2nd

While we already have an idea about the carrier retail price of the LG G4 in the US, looks like now we have some information on its release date, too. According to T-Mobile's promotional Twitter account for the device, the flagship will be available for purchase starting June 2.

This comes from the company's promotional account, and not an official channel, so there is always the chance that this information is not correct. T-Mobile has been on a nationwide tour promoting the LG G4, which explains the name of the Twitter account. While no U.S. carrier has announced a price or launch date for the handset, both Sprint and U.S. Cellular said that they would have the phone in stores next month. As we told you earlier today, U.S. buyers of the phone will receive a second spare battery, an extra wall charger, and a 32GB microSD card.

T-Mobile may begin carrying the LG G4 as early as June 2

The LG G4 will carry a 5.5-inch LCD screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a pixel desity of 538ppi. The Snapdragon 808 SoC is under the hood with a hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU, and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside and there is 32GB of expandable memory. The 16MP rear camera has an aperture of f/1.8 allowing for quality photos to be snapped under low-light conditions. It also comes with OIS. The 8MP front-facing camera is perfect for selfies and video chat. A 3000mAh removable battery powers the handset, and Android 5.1 is pre-installed.
